🔔 Notifications

📈 Downloads & proceeds
Last month at a glance, twelve months in detail, and your full account history by year. Free apps show downloads; paid apps show proceeds too.
🍃 Freshness
Time since each app's last release, colour-coded — so stale apps stand out before your users notice.
📌 Menu bar & widgets
The essentials live in your menu bar and in desktop widgets. The icon flips to an hourglass while anything is in review.
🔒 Private by design
Your API key stays in your Keychain. The app talks only to Apple — no analytics, no tracking, no third-party servers. Privacy policy
✨ Demo mode
Curious but not ready to create an API key? Click Explore with demo data on first launch to tour the whole app with sample apps and sales.
Getting started
ASC Viewer uses Apple's official App Store Connect API with a key you create yourself:
- In App Store Connect, open Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API and generate a team key with the Finance role.
- Note the Issuer ID and Key ID, and download the
.p8key file. - Find your vendor number at the top of Payments and Financial Reports.
- Enter all four in ASC Viewer's Settings. They're stored in your Keychain and never leave your Mac except to talk to Apple.

Frequently asked questions
Can I try it without an App Store Connect API key?
Yes — on first launch, click Explore with demo data to browse the full app with realistic sample data: a review pipeline, monthly and yearly sales history, and the menu bar view. Add your real API key in Settings whenever you're ready and the demo data is replaced by your own.
Why is there no data for the current month?
Apple publishes monthly sales reports a few days after each month ends. "Last month" is always the newest report Apple has released.
Why do some months show a dash?
A month with zero transactions has no report at all on Apple's side. That's Apple's behaviour, not missing data.
Why does history older than a year show by year, not by month?
Apple retains monthly reports for 12 months and yearly reports indefinitely. ASC Viewer shows the finest granularity Apple still has.
Is the Finance role safe to use?
The Finance role is read-oriented: it can read apps, sales, and finance reports, but it cannot edit your apps, pricing, or availability. It's the least-privileged role that covers everything ASC Viewer shows.
Notifications aren't appearing.
Enable them in ASC Viewer's Settings, and check the app is allowed under System Settings → Notifications. ASC Viewer polls every 15 minutes, so a status change can take up to 15 minutes to surface.
How do I remove my credentials?
Settings → Credentials → Remove credentials deletes them from your Keychain immediately. Deleting the app doesn't delete the Keychain item — remove credentials first if you're uninstalling for good.
